VP of Business Development
Al is responsible for sales and business development at NextNet Partners. His focus is to develop long-term relationships with our clients that are based on successful business outcomes. We are building a sales team with highly experienced, fully empowered account managers and engineers, who are measured and rewarded based on the results achieved for our clients.
Prior to joining NextNet Partners, Al was with Cisco Systems for eight years as a senior account manager in Phoenix serving enterprise clients. Prior to Cisco, he was with industry leaders such as AT&T Bell Labs, Lucent, Telcordia Technologies, KPMG Consulting, Sapient, and Broadbeam, with roles ranging from technical delivery and project management to business development, business/IT consulting, and hardware/software sales.
Al was born and raised in Philadelphia, earning a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He lived and worked in the greater-New York/New Jersey area for 20 years after earning a master’s degree from Stanford University. He then relocated to Phoenix in 2004 with his wife Alice and two children. He’s president of the Western Saddle Club and active in biking, golf, and resistance training, and has a strong commitment to health and nutrition. He’s an active supporter of environmental concerns, including the use of alternative energy technologies.
